G’day, my name is Chris Fenech, I have always been a battler, I have my own story to tell as does everyone else in this world… I’ve always tried my best and worked hard since I was a young man, with many ups and downs while mostly trying to enjoy and focus on the personal successes I’ve experienced in a variety of professions along the way, and for this I am grateful…and now I own my own business which means I can offer a variety of services driven by my need to feed my family financially but also feed my sincere passion to help others. It is this freedom of owning my own business which leads me to this new service which relates to Equine Therapy for those suffering with mental health issues whereby me and my horses may be able to assist with… if you think you may benefit from working with me and my horses please do not hesitate to call anytime to discuss. It is widely acknowledged that people of all ages working with horses are offered an opportunity to use all senses while learning and processing through emotional challenges. Younger participants often find it difficult to open up and process painful emotions and experiences, working with horses allows youth, and people of all ages, to work on a range of issues, including the following areas;

5) Trust in self
6) Assertiveness
7) Social skills
8) Trust in others
9) Impulse control
10) Developing and maintaining relationships
PRICING
1 hour – $110pp
1.5 hour – $155pp
2 hour – $265pp
** Sessions are by appointment, and are available between Monday – Friday, subject to availability.
** Price includes refreshments.
** Public Holiday and Special Event surcharges may apply, price on application, all prices are quoted in Australian dollars, include taxes (GST) and are subject to change without notice.
** 90kg weight limit applies to riders only.
WHAT TO WEAR
Sessions will vary for each participant, for those riding during their session we recommend enclosed shoes or preferably riding boots with long pants. We will provide the safety helmet and we also keep a supply of riding boots. During the heat of summer, it is acceptable to wear shorts for the shorter rides and especially if the participant is only planning to walk their horse. We suggest a change of clothes and shoes for all Beach, Lagoon & River Rides where swimming with your horse is an option. HWH Stables is located at 267 Dairyville Rd, Upper Orara NSW. The Beach Ride Meeting Point – search for Jetty Beach House on Jordan Esplanade, Coffs Harbour in Google Maps, our truck and horses will be found behind the main building.
